I’ve decided to write a new theme again starting from scratch!
This is because the theme I WAS developing didn’t really suit what I had in mind
I’m going to adapt my artician skin for wordpress now.

Theme Update: Progress

January 24th, 2009

Here is a small update on the progress of the new theme:

Concept completed
Open-Source dock script found
Dock-encoding example found (DockWP)
Backside PHP, CSS and graphics editing commenced

As of 27/01/09

Background created and implemented
Dock script implemented though still unfinished (a little buggy)
Header code mostly completed
Header image created and implemented
Minor side work completed (preview etc.)

I have currently had to switch to the default theme for wordpress.
This is because I am currently in the process of developing a new theme, based around the “Brushed Steel” wallpaper.
Also sidebar widgets were not compatible with the old Wbar theme, so I decided to create a new and fully functional theme once more

I am hoping to have the new theme written within the next few weeks, and released fully by mid-February.
